Tissue flowers..

As I was walking through the store looking for something that my kids could make for their Dad for Fathers' Day, I was taken back to a childhood memory and wanted to attempt something I learned in grade school for a new card....

Using Tissue Paper here are the newest version of flowers I will be using on everything for about the next month or so.. haha!! enjoy!!

WEDDING FAVORS

IT'S BEEN A BUSY FEW WEEKS!! FINALLY I AM BACK TO SCRAPPIN... ALTOUGH BEFORE I WAS SCRAPPING STILL BUT IT WAS ALL WEDDING..!! HERE ARE SOME WEDDING FAVORS I MADE:)

I USED THE PETAL CONE PUNCH AND THE LATTICE EMBOSSING FOLDER. AFTER PUNCHING OUT THE PETAL CONE SIDES (MARINA MIST CARDSTOCK) , I ADDED CUT OUT STAR FISH AND SAND DOLLARS FOR EMBEDDED EMBOSSING. I EMBOSSED THE CONE WITH THE LATICE EMBOSSING FOLDER. I REPEATED THE PROCESS WITH THE TOPS (I HAD TO CUT OFF THE TOP FROM THE MARINA MIST AS I WANTED TO USE A DIFFERENT COLOR) FOR THE ROUND TOPS I USED: BASHFUL BLUE AND CHOCOLATE CHIP CARDSTOCK)

AFTER THE CONE ASSEMBLY WAS COMPLETE, I USED THE CROP A DILE AND PUNCHED HOLES IN THE BASE SO I COULD TIE A RIBBON AND WEDDING CHARMS TO THE FRONT WITH THE 3/8" TAFETA RIBBON. STAMPED THANK YOU ON SAHARA SAND CARDSTOCK AND MADE A BANNER WITH MY SQUARE PUNCH (TUTORIAL ON SPLITCOAST STAMPERS WEBSITE)

FOR THE FILLING I PUT IN SOME EASTER GRASS AND USED THE TREAT BAGS FROM JOANNS CRAFT STORE WEDDING FAVORS KIT AND FILLED THEM WITH MATCHING M&M COLORS..!!

THEY WERE A SUCCESS!! AND BEAUTIFUL :)

THANKS FOR LOOKING... AND HAPPY SCRAPPIN'

Mothers' day card for Grandmother

I made this card for my Grandmother for Mothers' Day... It is simple and yet caring enough for a woman.

Cut a 4" hole in the center of card, used Stampin' Up Word Play set to stamp sentiment, added a frame around the the circle. added embellishment to frame for dimension and then flowers along the bottom of card.

Valentine Creations have Begun..!

Now that the tree is put away and the sugars from stocking treats and baked goodies has settled in its time to get back to reality.. oh wait.. Valentine's is right around the corner... another reason to be in the scrap room all day :)

Here is the first of my creations: (with more to come!)
I saw the bottom part of the card with the shadowed trapezoids somewhere else but I cannot remember where, sorry!

The top part of the card is cased from the very popular Stampin Up "Valentine Defined" set.. instead of stamping it onto the card I used the idea to make my own wires with confetti and beads.. maybe next time I will just stamp it as it seems to take less time!

Happy Scrappin' ... thanks for looking :)
